We think chef Jimmy Lee needs no introduction (but we’d like to give him one anyway). He’s an award-winning chef who has served mouthwatering food to hundreds and thousands of people in Glasgow who have dined at Lychee Oriental since 2015. From creating a cookbook to making TV appearances as an expert judge, Chef Lee has made a memorable impact on the Scottish culinary scene.

Jimmy has been a client of ours for 20 years and we were delighted to hear about him launching Lychee now in the Southside of Glasgow, as we’ve always been fans of Lychee Oriental at 59 Mitchell Street in the city centre. You can find Chef Lee’s new restaurant located at 67 Kilmarnock Rd, Shawlands, Glasgow G41 3YR. If you’ve ever been to our store down in Eglinton St, this new Lychee Southside restaurant is only a 7-minute drive away!

We are proud to have helped Chef Lee in creating various printed items over the years. From menus with gold foiling, gift vouchers and business cards to large artwork orders, Foamex boards and custom letterheads, we’ve taken great care in creating and printing designs that embodies the true essence of each of his restaurants Lychee Oriental, Lychee Southside, Shanghai Teahouse and Shanghai Oriental.

Everyone at Soapbox wishes Chef Jimmy Lee and his team at Lychee Oriental a heartfelt congratulations and continued success as they embark on this new and exciting chapter. They’ve worked incredibly hard to serve up incredible and innovative Chinese and Oriental cuisine at their restaurants and we have no doubt that they’ll be serving up amazing things at their new restaurant too.

So, if you find yourself in the southside of Glasgow or in town, don’t forget to stop by and treat yourself to a wonderful meal (we’re sure that your tastebuds will thank you for it)!
