Gorilla Marketing Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter

1.1 The promoter of this Giveaway is Soapbox Digital Media LTD, with registered address 614 Eglinton Street, Glasgow, G5 9RR (“Promoter”, “we”, “us”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 16 or over at the time of entry.
2.2 The Giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
2.3 Employees, officers, agents, or family members of the Promoter (or any party professionally connected with the Giveaway) are not eligible to enter.
2.4 Only one (1) entry per person, per platform, is permitted, unless otherwise stated by us in writing. Duplicate entries on the same social media platform will be disqualified.

3. Entry Period

3.1 The Giveaway opens for entries at the time the entry mechanism is published on our website and closes on 31st October (the “Closing Time”).
3.2 Any entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be valid.

4. How to Enter

4.1 To enter the Giveaway, participants must:

• Watch our video on one of our social media channels and count how many Tunnock’s Teacakes appear in it;

• Like & Share the post, comment (tagging three local businesses and stating how many Teacakes they saw), and follow us on one or more of our social media channels;

• Follow any additional steps specified on the Giveaway page.
  4.2 Entry must fully satisfy all steps to be valid. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
  4.3 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete.

5. The Prize

5.1 The prize comprises:

• £250 printing credit with Soapbox, redeemable via our services;

• A Jellycat Gorilla;

• Tunnock’s Teacakes (a selection).
  5.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
  5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances demand.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

6.1 The winner will be selected by random draw (or by our internal judging panel) from all valid entries received by the Closing Time.
6.2 The draw (or decision) will take place on Halloween (31 October) or a near reasonable date thereafter.
6.3 The winner will be notified via social media and/or direct message within 7 days of selection.
6.4 The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond in time, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6.5 The Promoter will publish the name (first name and initial) of the winner on its social media or website after the prize has been claimed.

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1 The Prize must be collected in person at the store at 614 Eglinton Street, Glasgow, G5 9RR
7.2 The £250 printing credit must be redeemed within 6 months from the date of notification, unless otherwise agreed.
7.3 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize if the winner fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

8. Publicity & Use of Data

8.1 By entering, you consent to the Promoter using your name and social media handle (if applicable) for publicity purposes in relation to the Giveaway, without further payment or notice, unless prohibited by law.
8.2 Personal data collected in connection with this Giveaway will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.3 We may also use entrants’ information for marketing purposes if consent is given, subject to data protection laws (e.g. UK GDPR).

9. Liability & Limitation

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter (its agents, officers, employees) excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or use of the prize.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions will exclude or limit liability where it is unlawful to do so (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for errors or failures of any network, computer, software, or technical malfunction.

10. General

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway (or any part of it) if fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its reasonable control impair the integrity of the Giveaway, as determined by the Promoter.
10.2 In case of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.3 These Terms & Conditions are governed by United Kingdom laws.
10.4 If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
10.5 The winner’s name and county (or region) can be requested by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Promoter within one (1) month after the Closing Time.
10.6 These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding this Giveaway and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
